Privacy

Your JSON never leaves your device. Everything you paste, open or drop is processed by JavaScript in your browser. There is no upload, no server-side processing and no account.

Stored on your device

For convenience the page remembers your indentation and sort settings, and a draft of smaller inputs (under about 200 KB), in your browser's local storage. Press Clear or clear the site data in your browser to remove it.

Anonymous usage statistics

To learn which features are useful, the page records anonymous events when you use a tool, for example "Quick Fix ran and removed 2 trailing commas". Each event contains only: the tool used, whether it worked, the type of any error (with your text removed), the approximate input size (such as "1-10 KB"), how long Quick Fix took, the page, your country and device type (from your connection, not stored with any address), the website that linked you here, and the hour it happened.

We never record your JSON, file names, IP address or any identifier, and set no cookies for this. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, no events are sent at all.

Advertising

This site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites.

Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at www.aboutads.info. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Ad scripts never receive the contents of the editor: your JSON is processed only in your browser.
